Terms and conditions

The owners and staff of Villa Mariner thank you for observing these terms, which exist to keep every guest comfortable and safe.

Stay and check-in times

1. Guests are asked to complete a registration card on the day of arrival.
2. Rooms are let by the night. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. In exceptional cases we reserve the right to change these hours, with prior notice to guests.
3. If you wish to extend your stay beyond the dates given on arrival, please tell reception by 9:00 on the day your booking ends. We will accommodate this where possible.
4. Guests may not pass their room to another person, even within a night already paid for.
5. Visitors who are not registered may be in the room after notifying reception, between 8:00 and 18:00.
6. Quiet hours run from 22:00 to 6:00.

Safety and liability

1. Guests are fully liable, in law and in damages, for any harm to fittings and equipment caused by them or by their visitors.
2. For fire safety, heaters, kettles, irons and other electrical appliances that are not part of the room’s equipment must not be used. This does not apply to chargers and power supplies for audio, video and computer equipment.
3. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the property, except in designated areas. Breaking this rule means covering the cost of disinfecting and deodorising the room, 1100 PLN, added to your bill.
4. A lost key card must be reported to reception at once. A replacement card costs 60 PLN.
5. On leaving the room, please check that the door is locked.
6. Villa Mariner accepts no liability for damage to or loss of items brought by guests. Items left behind will, at the guest’s request, be sent to a given address at the recipient’s cost. Without such instruction we keep them for three months, after which they are given to charitable or public causes.

Parking, air conditioning, pets

1. Unguarded monitored parking. One car is included in the room rate; each additional car costs 50 PLN per night.
2. Air conditioning is available in the rooms from 2 July to 21 August.
3. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with reception and for an additional fee set out in our price list. We accept small dogs only, not of breeds on the register of dangerous breeds. Animals must be supervised at all times. Dogs are not permitted in areas where food is served.
4. Rooms are cleaned while the guest is out. Towels and bed linen are changed on a hotel schedule.
5. Please report any faults to reception without delay. They are dealt with as quickly as possible, while the guest is out.

Payment

1. A deposit of 30% of the total stay is payable within three days of booking. The balance is due on the day of arrival, by card or in cash.
2. If you cancel your arrival, the deposit is not refunded.
3. Villa Mariner collects the local tourist levy under the Act of 12 January 1991 on local taxes and charges and a resolution of the Mielno Municipal Council. It is collected on check-in, in cash only, at 2.50 PLN per person per night.
