The Happy Sailor Club
A playroom in nautical style, daily activities through the season, a garden playground and evening campfires. Here children have a schedule of their own.
A sailor world inside the building
Portholes in the walls, a mural of a ship under full sail, lifebuoys and a treasure map. The Happy Sailor Club is a separate room arranged with children alone in mind.
Inside are soft toys, building blocks, board games and a small cinema. There is a soft sofa for a parent who wants to keep an eye on things and still get through a chapter of a book.
Activities right through the season
Every day of the summer holidays our activity leaders run something: treasure hunts, art competitions, parachute games, tournaments and searches through the garden.
The programme is arranged so that children of different ages each find something, and parents finally get two hours to themselves. There is no charge for our guests.
A playground in the shade of the pines
Slides, swings, a nest swing and plenty of room to run, all in the garden under the pines. The grounds are fenced and gated, and the playground is visible from the restaurant terrace.
Which in practice means one thing: you can finish your coffee in peace.
A campfire under the stars
There is a fire pit in the garden where we grill sausages in the evening. We provide the sticks; the rest is done by the smell of woodsmoke and the particular concentration a fire brings out in children.
This is usually the moment of the day that returning guests mention first.
Equipment for the youngest guests
On request and at no extra charge we lend a travel cot, a baby bath, a bottle warmer, a high chair, a step for the washbasin, a toilet seat reducer and a pushchair.
Just mention it when booking, or call us, and we will have the room ready before you arrive. For the beach we also lend sun loungers and a windbreak.
